I was changing my AC Fan speed and all of a sudden when i went to change it again it got completely STUCK!! What do i have to do to get it fixed and how much would it cost, is it a simple or complicated fix?Mercedes-Benz 1993 190E instrument plane Fan Speed Selector STUCK!?
that model is not real hard to get the switch out you may be able to free it up with a little spray of RP7 or similar what i would use is CRC electric but i dont know where you are or if you can obtain it a replacement switch for that model is reasonable in price in australia about $30 i thinkMercedes-Benz 1993 190E instrument plane Fan Speed Selector STUCK!?
Take the blower fan switch out and see if you can free it up. If not, the nice thing about the 190E compared to other Benz models of that era is the blower switch is a separate unit/not integrated with the climate control assembly. If you have to replace it, it isn't too bad cost wise compared to other climate control units for vehicles like a 300E or 420SEL for example.
