How can i adjust the fan speed on a lenovo desktop pc.?

i have just bought myself a Gigabyte cpu fan and heatsink. when i go to my system bios the fan's RPM is only 259. and the cpu temp is round 50 degrees. i want to know how can i change the bios or what should i do to make the fan opperatesat full speed and stay there? seems the self regulating heat software fan speed control is set at to high temp. anyone knows how to change that?How can i adjust the fan speed on a lenovo desktop pc.?

you can try purchasing a fan controller or you really want to get fancy, try entering the system bios and see if there are any options there, you can also try downloading speedfan @ http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php it kind of depends if you have a 3pin fan connector or a 4pin molex, the bios controller and software will only work if it is plugged in via 3pin, if its a molex, the fan is sure to run full speed all the time unless it has a 3pin connector with a single cable (control channel).How can i adjust the fan speed on a lenovo desktop pc.?
