Gpu getting over heated?

hi,

i have compaq presario v3611 au

amd athlon tk 55

nvidia geforce 7025

cpuid utility showing

gpu temperature 70 C

gpu fan 47%



i installed reva tuner and speed fan both one by one, but i am not getting option to change the fan speed



i read the guide for both reva tuner and speed fan , but i tried n didnt get the option how to change the gpu fan speed,

do i need to install any other driver or doftware which ll enable and show the fan speed parameter in speed fan or reva tuner,

please tell how can i increase the fan speed, GPU is getting over heated till 80 C, is it ok or prob, it is under gamingGpu getting over heated?
Most nVidia cards vent into the case If you GPU is overheating, your CPU may also be overheating. You will need to clear the area around your tower for better airflow through and around the case. You may need to install intake and vent fans as well.



Alternatively, if you have over clocked the GPU, de-clock it.



Personally, I'd look at investing in another G-card, probably an 8600 if you're on a budget, or an 8800 if you have some cash to blow.

SpeedFan was no good for my old CPU either. If you know the manufacturuer of the card (ie, the card itself, not the core), then try their website and look for a dedicated app.



Note that I used to have a GF6600 that routinely reached temps of 80-85 degrees, and I never had any trouble with it.
