Neighbor asked to borrow internet code, now is using our internet! I REALLY NEED HELP!!!!?

Yesterday our neighbor came and knocked on our door asking if we had wireless internet, not thinking we said yes, and then he asked if he could use our code cause he needed to download a game real quick. We said we didn't have the code (even though we did) because we're not huge fans of these people, they're a little bit clingy, and they drink a lot and ore loud on the weekends.



But then he kept asking what it was could it be our last name, etc.



We just told them that AT%26amp;T set it up for us and we don't know.

Finally he's like we'll if you can find the code, I'll pay 20 bucks or half a month.

So that kind of changed our minds, because my husband and I are always looking for ways to cut back on money since we just bought a new car, so we came inside for a few minutes and I said okay fine, give it a minute, and say that I found the code online.



So my husband did, and our neighbor gave us 20 dollars.



Now I'm skeptic, first we do not know these people well, we only have talked to them a few times since we have moved on base.

We don't drink, they do A LOT.

They're loud,

and they have nothing in common with us.



Now, last night around 'bed time' our internet was fast and normal.



But since I have been on it today, when his wife is probably home using it, it is lagging, and being very slow.

I don't think it's right, I'm a student and I need the internet, and I do a lot of research, it is our internet, and they can get the same companys interent for a little more then 20 a month (we pay 40 for extra highspeed) so I don't think it's right, they're taking away the speed of ours.



I'm not sure what to do?!

How can we change our minds to them without it being weird? Since we do not know them at all, I don't even think they know our names (let a lone we know theirs) and they have called us friends one night.



our neighbor, he is always getting in trouble, or in fights, and the PMO has came and talked to him a lot.

And he's asked us to say that he was at his house the whole time.



He's lied about his rank. They are just weird, loud, drinking people.



What to do?



How can we change our ISP ?



Should we give back the 20 that he gave us yesterday????

call AT%26amp;T and ask them to change the code. When he comes knocking on the door again saying that he can't access the internet, say I don't know what's wrong. Mine seems to be working fine. and then shut the door. Don't give back the 20. and if he asks for it, say well you guys have been using the internet lots lately and i don't think it would be fair. even if you give him back the 20 bucks with out changing the code, they will still be able to access your internet because the code is kind of saved into your computer so that when you turn it on it automatically connects to your internetNeighbor asked to borrow internet code, now is using our internet! Its like a house phone someone calls your line harassing you, you change your number. Tell the internet company to change your password. Or you change it they will not have that so you can say you had it turned off cause someone hacked into your computer and now you go to the library or a friends... Hope this help.. next time be careful who you share your things with... Or just go and talk to them it might not be so bad...
