that model is not real hard to get the switch out you may be able to free it up with a little spray of RP7 or similar what i would use is CRC electric but i dont know where you are or if you can obtain it a replacement switch for that model is reasonable in price in australia about $30 i thinkMercedes-Benz 1993 190E instrument plane Fan Speed Selector STUCK!?
Take the blower fan switch out and see if you can free it up. If not, the nice thing about the 190E compared to other Benz models of that era is the blower switch is a separate unit/not integrated with the climate control assembly. If you have to replace it, it isn't too bad cost wise compared to other climate control units for vehicles like a 300E or 420SEL for example.

ok, i have in total 6 fans in my case, including PSU fan, graphics card fan and front fan. Now i want to speed up one or 2 fans i have but want to know what application lets you do it.



i have tried speed fan but it doesn't find all my fans, and doesn't seem to work.

Speedfan needs to recognize your motherboard chipset and will only work on fans connected to the motherboard. It also needs to be configured.



The PSU fan is controlled by the PSU (depending on amount of heat generated or power consumed). Don't mess with it.



The graphics card fan can be sped up/controlled with RivaTuner (similar to speedfan). Rivatuner also overclocks and does other stuff.



Your motherboard fans are probably controlled by your motherboard, or they're running at maximum already. Use your BIOS to turn off motherboard fan control, or just plug them all into the 12v molex with an adapter: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as

Control fan speed on laptop?

Okay so I have a Gateway T-1631 laptop. It has Windows Vista. And well I was wondering if I could change the fan speed in the BIOS settings. I tired to look it up on the BIOS screen but I didn't see anything relating this. So if anyone knows how can I control the speed of my laptop fan in the BIOS settings screen. And also I am wanting to figure this out because my laptops' fan turns on as soon as I turn the laptop and. And I mean my laptop does not feel hot or anything on the top or under the laptop. So this is strange, and plus it's annoying hearing the fan spin. Like you can hear it right after I power on the laptop, and when I'm in the library it's literally disturbing others around me. So please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How to adjust fan speed?

i just got a packard bell easynote lj 63 with windows 7 on it and installed fuel witch didint really work well so i installed windows xp and now i have a temperature problem because the fans speed wouldnt go faster.

i tried to change the fan speed in bios but i dont have that option, and i tried speedfan too but it just doesnt work.

could someone please give me some advice on how to change the fan speed or tell me if windows 7 adjusts the fans automaticly, because ive been searching for 3 hours and i cant find a solution.How to adjust fan speed?

amd athlon tk 55

nvidia geforce 7025

cpuid utility showing

gpu temperature 70 C

gpu fan 47%



i installed reva tuner and speed fan both one by one, but i am not getting option to change the fan speed



i read the guide for both reva tuner and speed fan , but i tried n didnt get the option how to change the gpu fan speed,

do i need to install any other driver or doftware which ll enable and show the fan speed parameter in speed fan or reva tuner,

please tell how can i increase the fan speed, GPU is getting over heated till 80 C, is it ok or prob, it is under gamingReva tuner,,,no option for fan speed setting?
The *RIVA* tuner is meant for ATI cards as far as I can remember. If your GPU is overheating, it'll automatically kick itself up to the highest speed (ie you cannot force it to go faster than it is designed to).



If your card is overheating I would recommend buying a new case fan, going the tricky route of buying and replacing your fan, warranty replace your graphics card if possible, or go the old school cheapo route and duct tape a window fan to the side of your case ;).

How do I change fan switch for a/c and the light bulbs in radio buttons? ?

I have an '05 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. The fan switch only works on the 3 %26amp; 4 speed. I assume the switch is bad. Also the lights on the radio display buttons are out, is there a way to change light bulbs in the display. The sliding temp. controls lights for climate control are also out can they be changed and how? How do I change fan switch for a/c and the light bulbs in radio buttons? ?
The fan speed issue is a bad fan resistor module located somewhere under the glovebox attached to the a/c box.



Radio back lights are not serviceable. Slider light %26quot;might%26quot; be. You would have to pull the panel to see if it has socketed bulbs.

If it's using AMD's cool %26amp; quiet mode, then the fan speed is adjusted automatically. Go into the BIOS %26amp; disable cool %26amp; quiet mode %26amp; you should then be able to control the fan speed with software.
