Real Madrid really needs to reshape their squad this coming January transfer window.?

I am an absolute die hard Real Madrid fan 4 life, but the game against Almeria was just horrible, they are winning 1-0 with the game almost finished and they give up a stupid goal to get a draw and drop points on the table. I am really upset. They need changes now, I really they need to reshape the defense by getting rid of Metzelder and possibly Gabriel Heinze. Pepe is excellent but sometimes he can be very clumsy and make mistakes, plus he is injury prone. I really think they need to buy at least two solid, I mean very solid well rounded defenders, because their defense is just too weak. Another thing they need is a Winger, they got Robben on one side but no one on the other. People don't realize how important it is to have fast pace wingers on each side of a formation when you take the field, it creates more opportunities to score goals because the advantage of their speed, Robben can't do it on his own, i really think they need to buy at least one or two fast effective wingers. I also think they soon need to start thinking of getting a top scoring forward to fill their front line. Raul is good but really how much he's got left in the tank, someone like Benzema, Huntelaar, David Villa (I Wish), or even Cristiano Ronaldo (which probably won't ever happen, another one I WISH). Well yes, somewhat. They do need a really good player, but they also need to cut the old dead weight. Players like Heinze and possibly Saviola need to go.



But what you really need to do is develop some young players instead of paying 40 mil for a player. The Galacticos idea wont work anymore. Go sign 18-21 year old players to provide depth and eventually turn them into stars. Thats what Manchester United did, and they are miles ahead of Madrid now.



But you do need someone for now. If you can land Villa, do it, especially because he isn't cup tied and can play in the Champions League. Benzema is a young player who can be great for years, land him if possible.



One really good player, some young players to develop (or get people from your youth academy), cut old, dead weight. (except Raul)

I love Heinze. But these days you can do better. He is a great player, but he's not playing very well for Real and holding back players like Drenthe and Marcelo from getting chances. He has lost pace and I've seen him get burned time and again. Real needs to cut the fat, and eventhough I hate to say it, Heinze may have to go.
