a dell gx260
okay i bought it for $150
and at first it couldnt run vista so heres what is did...
i chaned the 512mb ram to 1.22 gb
overclocked the cpu from 1ghz to 2ghz
put a bigger cpu fan in my computer to keep it at 45 degrees celcius
changed the graphics from 8mb onboard to an ati radeon 1gb
overclocked the graphics card from 700 mhz to 750mhz on gpu
and memory on graphics from 400 to 450mhz
put a wirless card with a speed booster on there
changed monitor from 70's monitor to 19inch 2006 flat screen
changed the speakers from monitor to 5.1 logitech surround sound
all together ive spent arund 300 to 400 dollars on hardware
how much do you think its worth cuz im thinking about selling
i was thinking atleast $400
i mean this took some timeSo i upgraded my computer?
400 dollars upgraded 400 dollars sell equals to zero profit, don't undersell yourself , i won't sell it no less than 650 to about 850 dollars, that is almost a steal to a buyer for 400 dollars make a profit not a loss that sounds like a good upgrade you didSo i upgraded my computer?
most people i know wouldn't buy a system that had been overclocked
so in our opinion you have wasted $550 and your time
you should have spent that on a better system at the start
i'm afraid i wouldn't give you $50 for itSo i upgraded my computer?
yer i agree $380 to $400 i mean this will handle some pretty intensive tasks now providing the processor doesn't give and the motherboard tracks don't die or overload, it is a lot of power going through a smaller motherboard. maybe sell for less and make aware of risk to buyers
